The 40x60 was a 1960's stock NSS item with a blank area where theatre managers could change out 1-sheets as needed. This looks like it's been glued down with a custom lettering job. Ruined a perfectly good 1-sheet though, but it does have a different look that's not terrible.

And the winner of the German museum catalog was me, who did well!  ;D ;D7

Ah, good man.  Thanks.

And, the book couldn't have gone to the more correct person.  If you've never seen inside it, please let me know thoughts once reviewed...

May I now present to you the advance 1-sheet for NO TIME TO DIE. <<<yawn>>> Can the posters for OO7 get any worse? Absolutely zero creative effort here. It looks like a tuxedo ad with a mildly irritated actor.

Agree with you. It could almost be a glossy ad from a magazine like Vanity Fair.

This (as well as so many currently produced modern posters), lack original creativity, (and have for Years), unfortunately.   :'(

I couldn't even be bothered to put this up, this time.  Usually one area where I can contribute to this forum, I thought this would actually be a detraction.

Bloody awful.  A travesty.

I don’t lament the passing of the painted era, nor do I hanker after a poster that is chock full of action as current advertising avenues have made all that redundant.

What I do think is absolutely necessary, and concurrent to the standards of the Bond films, is a very tasteful photograph taken by a talented photographer to create a mood.

Not this ‘splat splat’ method of presentation.

I would Love with a passion to know how Empire Design was chosen, how they are retained, and what is the thinking behind these decisions and approvals.

How complete would you say your Bond collection is Simes? being a fellow completist I know it's never actually going to be complete, but if you had to put a percentage on it, what would it be?

That's a pretty complete collection, and nice to have a list of what you need to complete.

I don't restrict myself to any format, apart from prints that weren't released at the time of the films original release. Everything else is fair game, which means I don't have a list as such.

Do you have a website for your collection?

Gosh no - I really do not have the web skills.  And anyway, there are people out there with better of both skills and collection.

I really don't think 13 variant copies of an ugly Skyfall 1 Sheet is going to be pullin' 'em in.  Do you?

What I do have is a spreadsheet inventory, all bookmarked and priced.  This also serves for insurance purposes.

For example, a portion devoted to SPECTRE posters.

SPECTRE V1 Teaser Quad - Coming Soon
SPECTRE V1 Teaser Quad - Coming Soon IMAX
SPECTRE V1 Quad - Coming Soon IMAX - Cineworld Competition
SPECTRE V1 Quad - Coming Soon - Showcase Competition
SPECTRE V1 UK 1 Sheet - Grey - Coming Soon - Showcase Competition
SPECTRE V1 UK 1 Sheet - Grey - Coming Soon
SPECTRE V1 UK 1 Sheet - Grey - Coming Soon IMAX
SPECTRE V1 US 1 Sheet - White - Coming Soon
SPECTRE V1 US 1 Sheet - White - Coming Soon IMAX
SPECTRE V1 US 1 Sheet - White - November
SPECTRE V1 US 1 Sheet - White - November IMAX
SPECTRE V2 Quad - October 26
SPECTRE V2 Quad - October 26 IMAX
SPECTRE Quad - Piracy Warning
SPECTRE Quad - Piracy Warning - without FACT logos
SPECTRE V2 UK 1 Sheet - Coming Soon
SPECTRE V2 UK 1 Sheet - Coming Soon - IMAX
SPECTRE V2 US 1 Sheet - November 6
SPECTRE V2 US 1 Sheet - November 6 IMAX
SPECTRE V3 US 2 Sheet - Bus Shelter

Simes - How do you determine your insurance value? Is it the price you paid for the poster or the price you think it is worth, with reference to auction results or dealer prices? You might have obtained a poster free from a cinema or have "overpaid" for a rare style.

220      SPECTRE V1 Quad - Coming Soon IMAX - Cineworld Competition            Creased, Single Sided, Rolled            50

222      SPECTRE V1 UK 1 Sheet - Grey - Coming Soon - Showcase Competition            Rolled            30
223      SPECTRE V1 UK 1 Sheet - Grey - Coming Soon            Rolled            30
224      SPECTRE V1 UK 1 Sheet - Grey - Coming Soon IMAX            Rolled            35
225      SPECTRE V1 US 1 Sheet - White - Coming Soon            Rolled            35

227      SPECTRE V1 US 1 Sheet - White - November             Rolled            35
228      SPECTRE V1 US 1 Sheet - White - November IMAX            Rolled            35
229      SPECTRE V2 Quad - October 26            Rolled            50

While the columns have gone all to hell, I just review market prices and adjust.  Then, all the columns add up to give me an overall figure.

I'm jumping in on this.
Insurance value is determined on so many factors including primarily purchase price (if bought) and replacement cost.

If something is so rare that it has either never been sold before or the last one sold was many years previous, then that's when it gets difficult and where you have to agree a suitable insurance value with the underwriter.

I have heard of people insuring their entire collection as a group without providing any individual items, but as with any claim you have to jump through hoops to have your claim processed. Thankfully, I've never been in such a position.
Best wishes,
Adam

Every time I renew, I just forward to them the inventory.

They say they are happy with this.  I also highlight and input the highest value items on the portal.

Well speaking of posters, these were up for "James Bond Day" as seen on Good Morning America. I did see people in the crowd holding mini versions of these so paper is definitely out there. The 1-sheets can't be far behind.
