If I was Leonardo or a double digit millionaire I'd buy this poster in a minute. Of course I would throw down a $725K offer first.  I guarantee this sucker will double in value over the next 30 years.  The problem is that the annual rate for ROI, which is pretty good right now, is only 3.6% if it doubles in 20 years and only 2.4% rate if it doubles in 30 years.

So essentially one could buy a McDonald's franchise and double their money in ten years for the same price of the poster and get a better return...  It will have to go to an investor/collector...

Selling a true classic movie poster to an A-list star is kind of a no brainer, like selling sports memorabilia to overpaid athletes.

disagree Charlie.. it will sell to someone who will love & cherish the poster and in all likelihood will go to a "black hole collection". The place where posters go and never return

Sorry to hijack this thread everyone, but I feel I have to defend myself.  Here is my latest non-auction find... this is the second one of these I tracked down for those keeping score.  A bit rough, but still very presentable and its already off for restoration.  There was tape on the bottom edge and all over the back (for stability they told me) that needs to be addressed.  I'll put a restored pic in latest acquisitions thread when I get it back...
