Man, that  poster hits the sweet spot of my youth.  Right there, where a movie full of bikini girls supplanted the need for a plot.  Been a long time, but I think One Crazy Summer pretty much launched the career of Demi Moore.

Thanks for sharing,

Brian

Not a Best Of, but rather than start another 80's thread..  8)

Revolution (Goldcrest Films International, 1985); Rolled US OS:

*From box office data: Revolution cost $28 million to make, and was a box-office disaster, only grossing $358,574 in the United States.   :o

Always loved the tag line, too: “Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It’s fun to be a vampire."    8)

It became a camp film, hurt Dunawaye's career to a degree and is a film she now NEVER speaks about. But I think her performance was brilliant--over the top, sure, but she WAS Joan Crawford. She was she -- reincarnated... LOL.

I'm using a stock image because I kept getting a bad glare when i snapped the photo (that darn glossy paper...  cheers ).

Mommie Dearest (Paramount, 1981); Folded US OS:

Shit, completely forgot about this thread.  I was just checking my first post and it seems I had a lot of time to waste that day.  Pathetic.

Those are cool posters Jeff. The Lost Boys is an excellent film, and even to this day it has a "very modern " look ...

And Mommie Dearest ....well ...lovely poster, but I remember watching this film when I was little and she terrified me.  I can't watch her films now ...still great poster  :)

Nice Princess Bride! Haven't seen that one before. Like that more than the US version.
Nice Gremlins insert. Every time I go to buy one I stop myself since I have the 1-sh.
Also been watching for that Swamp Thing and Howard the Duck. Glad to know I'm not the only person that likes that Howard poster. ;D thumbup

Thanks fellas.  A couple of more I forgot to add that definitely belong if we are talking 80s flix.  My all time favorite 80s flick is Real Genius.  Too bad all the paper for it blows.
