just about everyday and i must say i would like to see this gone one farther by linking a voice chat program like a teamspeak server then we can do witout typing !!!!!! for real !!!! typing is sooooooo 1940's

I tried that once with an American friend, we had used regular chat for years but i COULD NOT TALK to her. Son as heard her deep south accent I freaked.

It's actually costing us extra $$$ every year, and nobody uses it. I told Holiday I wanted to get rid of it. I'm sure there is a way to see who's already in it before you get in, but Holiday doesn't know how to do it, so unless we find a way, there is no use for it and I want it gone. I hate spending money for no reason.

You could also replace it with a free chat server pretty easily. Sure it wouldn't integrate as cleanly/symbioticly with your current forum software, but it wouldn't cost you anything and allow people who wanted to chat in real time to do so.

There is a forum for Smf,depends how geeked out you two want to get.I say flush it..
Chat is far too time consuming,I prefer to post, then browse thru any reply or abuse when i have the time.

I'd imagine it's just a mod, so remove the mod or change the permissions so only Super Admins can use it, the rest of us plebs won't be able to access it then.
