Wanted: Martin Ansin's Metropolis
« on: January 26, 2012, 01:20:50 PM »
I'm not holding out much hope but if anyone wants to part with their gold or silver Metropolis by Martin Ansin then let me know as I've been on the hunt for one for a while.

I might go for a silver one too.  It's my only Ansin missing print.

I'm still a bit surprised that people like this print this much...  it just doesn't compare to Phantom, Bride and most of his other work...

Phantom is a gorgeous print, but the movie does nothing for me.  I actually didn't like Bride much at all, nor any of his other prints...except maybe Mummy, but never actually got my hands on the print.

I'm hoping Dracula is a stunning in person as it looks online.

I love Metropolis though and I think this is my favourite...I think am biased because I love the film so much though.
