I found some close-up photos of the contraption.

This poster for LSD is the reason I invented the thing - it was so dry and fragile, that when I tried to hang it with clips straight on the paper, it started tearing apart!

Has anyone tried to fold small pieces of medium thickness cardboard to fit under each clip?  Does that leave marks on the poster?

Thanks,
Matt

I used 35mm polyester film frames cut up from a trailer. Left no marks and looked fine...

One could also use the Dan Miles method that he describes here:

What I want to know is how much time you spend a day digging up 3 year old threads!

Very little. If I think of a topic i'm curious about, I do a quick search on the forum, those related threads pop up.. and voila, the trick, she is done.

And certain topics and threads are ageless; they are just as relevant today as they were 3 weeks or even 3 years ago, and many get lost in the mists of the back pages. So why not dust them off now and then, especially for the newer members to see (in case they hadn't).
