Well, I'm absolutely enamored with noir... In fact, I'm currently reading the entire back catalogs from Hammett, Chandler and Cain.  Red Harvest, Hammett's first book, was fantastic by the way... and many don't know it was the inspiration behind Yojimbo, which led to A Fistful of Dollars, which led to Last Man Standing, which...

However, I don't have much paper on film genre yet.  I think this is the only one I have:

Original release French "LARGE" on linen (I got it at the grocery store ;)), art by Grinsson:

This is an image from Dominique but mine is the same... I just don't have a photo handy.  BTW, if anyone is seeking this out, watch out for the 60/70's re-release which has white credits instead of black.  Its an easy mistake to make if you aren't careful.

Damn the French and their confusing and convoluted re-releases!

"Dillinger" - 1945 (aka "The Mobster")

"Kansas City Confidential" - 1952 (aka "Secret Four")

"Boomerang" - 1947

Wim, much appreciated!

But I must admit, I do not have much in the same echelon as that Johnny O'Clock and Big Clock (amazing!  had not seen that image before).

Apparently there actually is a Johnny O'Clock daybill and so the hunt begins...

I have never come across the full colour Johnny O'Clock daybill but I'm sure one exists somewhwere. I have had a duotone daybill.

Thanks John.  I saw in Bruce's records that he sold one and I assumed it would be full colour but it may have been the duotone...

Great score, Jeff. Is it an original release? If so, how did you verify? I really like belgian posters but hold off buying them because they can be so tough to authenticate.

Here is another rare one - Time to Kill based on Raymond Chandler's novel. It was remade as "The Brasher Doubloon"
