I haven't seen a linenbacked poster in person yet.

Personally I like linen-back, I think they look really nice.  I have a Hammer poster I purchased off EMP that was backed and love it.

Ya I am really curious on how its going to turn out.

I am also thinking about backing the 4 foglios  later on to get the sheets together and remove the fold lines.

I'd be interested in hearing how that goes and what the pricing is on that.  Thoughts of backing and a few minor repairs to my 4F have crossed my mind.

UPDATE guys.

Well. I have decided to try out Dan at Backingtothefuture. He is in the same province, so I decided to give it a try and send it to him. Quick replies, work didn't take too long to complete.

I got the poster back and looks amazing! The work for his prices. Excellent!
Here are the after shots.
After this, I can become a fan of linenbacking!

Oh wait - I've seen this site before.  Does look like good work in your example.

Mike,

His work looks really awesome on your poster. Congrats!

I remember emailing him a few years ago, after seeing a piece about him on youtube/local news interview. He replied quickly and answered all the questions I had for him.

His site gives many before and after examples of his work too. In the least case, it's certainly worth a look.  :)

Killer poster, Mike, and again, what a great job that Dan Miles did here.

Did this one ever get framed, or is it in the "to do" pile?
