Dracula was released today in New York City in 1931. Looks like most sources say Dracula was wide released in the USA on Valentine's Day 1931. Interestingly on IMDB, Asheville, North Carolina, shows the earliest release date of February 9, 1931. The Classic Horror Film Board even has a clipping from an Asheville newspaper saying when Dracula was released there and even an earlier clipping from Pennsylvania showing a February 6th release date!
