Ok, thanks. I will get the hang of it eventually - and Photobucket was so...slow, I was losing the will to live.

All the ads and pop ups/ vid clips are making it a nightmare. And yet they claimed no more than a few weeks ago that they had made site upgrades to make it all more user friendly.  :-\

God yes, PB is horrendous.

It is why popping more up here is woeful; my resolve flags every time I even think of the commitment, time and energy needed.

Yes, it's nice isn't it - the lovely Deborah Kerr in one of her earliest films. Yellow backgrounds seem to figure a lot in Australian daybills around this period (or at least the ones I have) which make them really stand out.

And I seem to recall seeing or reading that this same daybill image was used on a DVD re-release (the case art). Fitting imagery, to be sure.  thumbup

Part of the daybill image was used on the BFI DVD & Blu-Ray releases:

Check it out, I can recognize Yul...  Oh wait, it's a OS.  Something happened on the way to the daybill...

Now I can't.

Nice poster.
