Hey Schan, if you're interested, I can have Grant Cramer sign it for you. He's the lead in that movie and one of my closest friends. I can even take a picture of him signing your poster. He is the son of Terry Moore, who was nominated for an AA back in the forties and was the last woman to marry Howard Hughes. One of his earliest memories is going to a baseball game and sitting on Cary Grant's lap.

That is very, very tempting Thierry. I will have to think about it for a while. Generally, I am not a fan of signed posters. But for a film like that, its almost too unique and cool to pass up........decisions, decisions.

By the way, did you ever see the movie?

I know it has a HUGE cult following and Grant is trying to set up a sequel that he wrote himself. Beyond that... that's all I know. Here, do you recognize him? That's my Iphone picture.

I liked the film as a teen, havent seen in a long time, good fun, never understood why the poster sells for so much though.
I dont think Ive seen any NON US posters though, so maybe it was straight to video everywhere else?

I have a UK quad for it so maybe it was released in the UK? Having said that, Entertainment In Film who released it in the UK in the 80s generally used Quads for video release as well as theatrical release. They also had smaller, maybe B2 size versions, specifically for video.

I think its valuable only because its pretty difficult to find. But it is not as valuable as one would be led to believe. I got mine from a respected dealer for $75, for example. More than most B movies from the time period, but considerably less than it normally goes for, and much more in line with what I feel it is truly worth.

Not sure to be honest, as I said the distributor in the UK used the same quads for theatrical and video release. I have a Hellraiser quad that I got from a cinema and I also have a Hellraiser quad from a video shop that received it for the rental release. They are exactly the same, no difference in them at all. It seems they did print smaller versions of the same artwork for rental release but also used quads. I think the distributor is called Entertainment in Film.

The tag line is perfect!

I have an idea that it is indeed a video release poster, but can't confirm. I have been re(searching) this poster for a while and can find no credible evidence that it had a theatrical release outside of the US. After cultish success it had in the states though, the video release came with a bit of fanfare in other locales.

And you are right skyjackers, that is one of the best taglines of all time!

I saw an interview with Charles Chiodo and he was talking about this poster (it is hanging in the Chiodo Bros studio). He didn't say exactly what it was but he did say that he wished the studio had used it for the original release instead of the normal 1 sheet. He basically said he thought more people would have went to see the movie if they saw this artwork versus the Klown hand with the world. I am planning on going to Monsterpalooza next month in Burbank and the Chiodo Brothers (directors of Killer Klowns) are going to be there. I will try to talk to them and see if I can get some info on it. Will get back to you guys on it.

Yeah, I actually made him a pretty significant offer for that quad several months ago, but it was auto declined. The guy is just using ebay as a way to show off his collection.

Alright I got to meet the Directors of Killer Klowns this past weekend, way cool. Anyways I asked them about this poster and they did say in fact that it was the British poster. They actually had some smaller reprints of this at the convention. I asked them if they had any of these originals and they only have the one at their studio. They said they had no idea of how I could get my hands on one as they haven't seen one forever. I also asked about part 2 and they said they would love to do it just waiting for someone to write the check. Hope this helps

Here is some artwork for the movie I have never seen before. This was draw up before the movie was released when they were trying to strike a deal. It was suppossed to be the video poster. pretty cool.
