Yes, those B1s are getting increasingly harder to find, especially rolled and mint.  Haven't seen any for sale in quite some time.

Why am I rubbing it in, Undead?

Did not mean you were actually rubbing it in of course.  It was a joke referring for those that saw it my recent want list request for B1's and in particular the star field advance but you beat me to finding one. Glad you were able to find them. Will keep an eye out myself.

Oh, sorry, I didn't read your post.  Mine was a two months quest.  I don't know where the rest of them are.  Cinemasterpiece doesn't have any, Bruce only sold one in '12 and it was in horrendous condition, and HA only sold 2 B2s.  I wonder how many were printed.

I don't know.  Most of these actually make it to the US because that's where the buyers are.  I'm not sure the Japanese care that much.

Were these part of the grouping that was discussed yesterday?

Great score on those T!  clap

I really like the "Starfield" version, too, especially.  thumbsup.gif

You mean from the guy who rolls posters lengthwise?  (I'm not supposed to say his name anymore.)  No.  Different deal.

Yeah, I like the Starfield, but its size and the fact that it's not a real movie poster has always bothered me.  I'll probably get it one of these days.  I still have more B1s to get first.  6 so far.  25 to go.

Finally got my pair of Star Wars B1s.  Rolled.  Mint.

Still so many more to get :(

No T... I meant this one... the "Starfield" sky pattern.

I think you thought I meant the "Starfall" B2.  ;)

I see.  Yeah, I really like its simplicity.  This one and the one next to it really look good together.

Good question, maybe updating. Hopefully they aren't fighting a trademark issue now that Disney has Star Wars.

Wow... love this poster, have the B2, but have never seen a B1 in the flesh. I'm sure it looks amazing.

Finally got off my rear and digitized the ads from these records. They are from the summer of 78' ad spots and include three records. The first record includes three standard radio sports of about one minute each. The second records has 15 30 seconds ads done like a radio serial and the third record, not included in this audio file, is the Star Wars theme and Cantina sound tracks.

I will leave these up for a day or two then will be pulling them. Just wanted to give the good people at APF a chance to hear something that hasn't been heard for nearly 40 years. I did do a quick search and could not find the serial ads online but who knows they may be out there somewhere.

Here's a Japanese B0 for Star Wars.  From the listing: Most hard to find poster of all time (from SW poster book by Steve Sansweet).

Cool looking poster and with the tie-in, selling one of the the newest vidcams of the time, too.

Id like to see a B0 in person, too as I never have.

And I see this seller is in Venice CA.. so a 15 min drive away.  thumbsup.gif

I wonder if he would let me take a peek.
