Yes, Todd Feiertag's copy is again up on ebay for boku bucks, but whenever his un-backed and un-restored copy of the US OS for The Mummy makes an appearance, I'm there!  bed1

Simply magnificent!  notworthy.gif

Love the art of Karoly Grosz.
He did most of the best Universal Monster movie posters.
Being his posters are rarely signed, I'd love to find some sort of definitive listing of his works.

Here's a few others he did, but there is so little info available.

I've recently read that Grosz also did this Dracula?

Maybe Crowzilla Sean has more insight?

Seems to make some sense, if Grosz was the Universal horror department's go-to poster artist.

It really is too bad that more US posters went unsigned. I guess staff artists had no place Id'ing their work, and were hired to simply produce the product.

The terrific artists from back then sure need to be recognized more fully. But I'm thinking many poster artists from that golden age will never be identified.  :'(

I believe Grosz is also credited with the art on the US OS for The Old Dark House (1932)  bed1

one thing i've learned over the years is that stone litho maniac ma500969 always gets what he wants, so while this one's not in the books just yet, it might as well be.  Great looking poster.

Excellent choice!

If (I) log onto APF and see the hotlink, wagging finger in a post here and then go over to emp and look at the very same image that has been hotlinked here (it has to be the identical poster url), I also see the wagging finger for that same poster on emp. Truly annoying and I dont get why i should see it on the emp site, too:

Clearing the browser cache, WHILE i'm on the emp site, then restores the image there and here, but I shouldn't have to do that each and every time. And should I shut the browser down, and then log on later to APF, the "wag" has returned. eyeroll

Even more screwball is that other APF members have said that they dont see "the yellow hotlink wag" at all on the forum anymore.  :-\
