Thanks Harry. That is really cool. But there were apparently no "regular" posters or lobby cards printed with the Black Christmas title?

Bruce

Not that I know of.  Given the fact that they didn't even pony up to print the snipe in color, I doubt they would have reprinted the 1-sheet.  Especially since I see so many unused posters/snipes... seems like they had a pile of them on their hands.

However, I'm still comparatively new to the hobby so what do I know!

This for me is getting really confusing now.
Bruce asked for an original Canadian/Us 1 sheet with Black Christmas PRINTED.
But the original title was Silent night etc...this was then changed to Bc..
Ive seen online both colour and black and white snipes for BC.. im so confused..!!

I assume Bruce was looking for a printed US 1-sheet... so far those haven't turned up.  There is what appears to be a Canadian 1-sheet (that I posted early) with the printed title and my review 1-sheet (which is a US Warner poster w/rating).

All the sniped, regular US 1-sheets that I've come across have had a B&W "Black Christmas" title snipe pasted over a color "Silent Night, Evil Night" color poster.  On some posters the snipe was not applied.  If anyone has seen a full color snipe, I'd like to see it...

I'm just wondering if the title change to Silent night Evil night, instead of Black Christmas was due to the producers not wanting it getting confused with all the Blaxploitation films around at that time.  Seems sensible.

I just added another original still to my faces of Lon Chaney Jr collection.
