I'll start out the new year with the random stuff that rolled in today:

- Rocky I/II combo (1980 SSF): Nice one - I'd like to get the Rocky II one of these days as well.

- Wall Street (1987 SSF): I've been looking for this for awhile.  I picked up the "international" version, which seems legit, relatively sharp lettering, 26.75 x 39.75.  Looking forward to Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps.  Gordon Gekko was too great a character for only one movie.

- Kill Bill Vol. 2 (2004 SSR): My first and only poster of the Kill Bill movies - many of the other posters are too violent for me

- Uptown Girls (2003 DSR): Featuring the late great(?) Brittany Murphy

I ordered this last night and haven't received it yet but couldn't wait to post it (I temporarily borrowed the eMoviePoster image).

This is the Japanese B2 for "Love At First Bite" - one of my all time favorite comedies.  

It's just an amazing poster - Susan Saint James' flowing dress is spectacular.  It's one of those posters that really captures the essence of the movie.  I'm sure it's going to go in the permanent-framed collection.

If you haven't seen the movie, you should catch it sometime or NetFlix it.  George Hamilton as Count Dracula was really terrific - he's more than the "man with the tan."

Ive seen more of these 6 sheet type posters popping up ... Im tempted until I think about NEVER having a place to hang them and then I move on They would make an amazing display if someone had the space though !! Great finds there T!

Very nice Thierry, and I am with you Fallen.  There is one in particular, but if I get it, it would absolutely have to be framed.  But if I got it, it could never be framed because I wouldnt have anywhere to put it.  Its a catch 22.

. . . I just received my Goldfinger Rolling Roadshow poster yesterday.

I am very impressed with it. It looks FAR, FAR better than I ever imagined.

I agree the Goldfinger poster is by far the best alamo poster - either in gold or red.

A 1993 (29 x 40.5) original announcing the then upcoming Trois Couleurs series co-written by Kieslowski and Piesiewicz themed in part on the ideals of the French Republic: liberte, egalite, fraternite. The poster was colored and films released in color progression of the French flag. Blue followed by white then red.

Dale.. you're alot like me.. For instance, until I was prepping rolled poster auctions.. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I HAD THAT FERRIS BUELLER POSTER!!!!

it was sitting with all that rolled stuff I never got to.

I even remember the guy who sold me the collection it was in:

Those Kilian mylars are just stunning in person - very hard to photograph them.  LAMP says " the image is painted over the gold, leaving holes so the gold is seen through."

That Indiana Jones Kilian mylar must be exceptionally rare - you never see it up for auction. Do you know how many Kilian sold?  They sold around 1000 Jessica Rabbit gold mylars.

Update: LAMP says Kilian printed 5,000, which sounds high.

Yes, but did they actually sell 5,000? I doubt it.  I've never spotted any on Ebay and none are listed now.  By comparison Ebay is currently listing several Jessica Rabbit mylars and I know Kilian only sold about 1,000 of them.
