Here's a few posters I've saved from movies I will probably never sit through again.....

AIP posters from the 1950-60s are often fantastic, IMO some of the best there are, but the movies themselves are just as often rather 'meh'!

I always thought this was one of the most beautiful Japanese tatekan posters for a horror film from the 70's. Unfortunately the film itself is absolute crap and was a torture to sit through.

How about EQUINOX, some say the inspiration for Raimi's EVIL DEAD...

Great tatekan, Armin. You're right, the film itself sucked hind teat.
Dig Paul's USHER quad.  That is another beauty.

Not at all. I love the Corman Poe adaptations. I should probably have written 'Corman' instead as it turns out it was not really his AIP pictures I was thinking of.

I was thinking more in line of movies like 'Attack of the Crab Monsters', 'The Wasp Woman', and 'Attack of the Giant Leeches' - all films that are not very good (though they may be fun to watch), but have wonderful posters.

Hey guys, I actually like THE GREEN SLIME and GARBAGE PAIL KIDS.
They are no great movies by any means, but at least they are not boring.

Lucio Fulci films bore me beyond belief, however, I would still like these...

Ahhhhh, be prepared for some harsh feedback on this. There are quite a few Fulci lovers on this forum (Ari - where are you?).
Great CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD quad by the way!

I know, I know, I was going to preface it with a disclaimer but I can honestly say that I have tried.  Also, in my defense I do like Zombie.

I don't know if I'd classify it is terrible but the film is thoroughly forgotten (except for the provocative poster that somehow made it past the censors!)

I got this one from Ted.  It is probably one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

It's like a complete Neverending Story ripoff - or is it the other way around?

Schan,

Try watching a UK-made movie called 'Evil Aliens' ...
... Truly the WORST I have ever seen.
My cousin and I went to a shopping complex (mall to you guys) one day during the week to kill some time, and whilst we were there we decided to go to see something on the big screen for the sheer heck of it.
We read the synopsis of the movie (no images); sounded decent, so we went to see it.
Biggest mistake ever! Out of the 20 or so people in the cinema, we were the only guys left inside the place after only 30 mins!

Check it out if you dare!  laugh1
Best wishes,
Adam

Too bad it's not full color...

This should of been a first rate film, for many reasons. Unfortunately it was an opportunity missed. Still I like the poster...
