That double panel for la belle et la bete is just perfect - the film, the art, the typography, the size/format. I think would be in my top 10 fave posters of all time.

Yeah, for sure it's an interesting design.  If only it wasn't linenbacked.  If only..   puke

You know that it's the name of my 7 month puppy, right?  And if you look in the glass reflection, you can see Barbarella on the other side.  So 3!!!

Hahaha

Splendid box frame contraption you have there.

Did you have that specially made?

Hey.  New here.   welcome1 Some of my posters that have adorned my walls.  I like the double sided posters where I can backlight them.

T - that looks great! As does the 2001.

beardmoen - Welcome! Thanks for sharing! I tweaked your image links slightly so they'd show. Those look cool...having a light box makes such a difference to double sided posters. I'm sure the colours on the Wonder Woman are really vibrant 'in the flesh'.

Yeah, my father in law made it for me 5 years ago and it has now been in 3 different houses.  He just bought a ranch in Colorado with a workshop where he plans to make me two one-sheet frames.

This is what it looked like at the two other houses.

What exactly are you using to hold the poster up?  Do you have a link.  I'd like to store my posters on flat cardboard with bags but don't want to damage the poster with clips that are too strong.

While not film, and maybe of passing interest only to Tierry, a Jean Cocteau poster celebrating his work on a small chapel in Villefranche sur mer.

We lived there for a couple of months last year and my search was for a summer holiday poster that the French resort towns used to pop up to advertise the summer there.  Only one such poster was available for Villefranche and that didn't fit the artistic bill.

While searching Heritage for the Saint lobby cards, this popped up due to the St Pierre Chapelle.

Yeah, I think I told you, we owned a vacation home there and I spent many summers on the French Rivera.  Villefranche is 5mn from Nice by train.  I need to go back.  We were in Corsica for 3 weeks last year with the whole family and had planned another trip this year, but alas, thanks to Covid, I'm stuck at the beach here :)

Villefranche is awesome.

Your Cocteau isn't bad either.  Most people won't know who he is, though.

Wait....wait...w-h-a-t???? MORE than one (when one is rare enough) poster on your walls? The world MUST be coming to an end. (Or maybe it's just another sign that it's 2020?) Very nice!!!

Hahaha... Well, it didn't last long.  I already took 2001 down.  My wife didn't like it.  Too scary for the kids.  And she doesn't like Barbarella.  Too much crotch for the kids.

:(
