Yes, can see your cool Stranger Things poster now, Schan!  Do you know where that size was displayed?  Okie

Subway.  It is actually vinyl on a backing made to be peeled off and stuck to subway tile, glass, etc.
Schan
Thanks.  You know what you did.

This one has been in our hallway for quite some time... I wasn't able to get a better shot...

Here are some new photos of the Rialto gallery room:

Wow, Ray, I'm about seven years late on seeing your Rialto post: what a great room to watch 16mm movies! I saw you were on the forum today and wanted to see if you had any Rialto gallery news?!  My best, Okie

I had this French poster for Alphaville framed about 1 year ago but only recently put it up on my wall.  Always liked that iconic artwork by Mascii.

I wish I could frame more stuff in my collection, especially the large French and Italian formats, but I'm running out of wall space.  I need to start rotating things around more.

I’m not a big fan of putting posters on MY walls, but I really enjoy seeing them on other people’s walls.

Hi Antoine, I love the combination of posters and walls!!! We have around 30 posters up on our walls, many of which I've shared on APF.  Nice going on your Alphaville!  Okie

If I recall, out of 14K posters, you only have a few displayed. What other art do you have displayed? Dying to know if you have a Monet!  8)

Thanks for the interest, but that's not relevant to a poster forum, so I'll stick to posters.

At this moment in time, I only have 2 pieces on the wall, La Belle et la Bete (which was supposed to go back to its tube in April, but Covid prevented us from doing extensive renovations on the guest rooms, so we kept it up) and Barbarella in the TV room.  I have a big poster frame next to it but it's empty.  I don't know what to put in it, so I'm waiting for a new batch of posters I'm about to purchase.

I've always loved that format for La Belle et la Bete!  I've been looking for a folded copy for years, to no avail.  Sadly I think I'll have to go with a linenbacked one.

I'm spending some time at my country house in Connecticut, where this French first release poster for Son of Frankenstein hangs on the pantry wall.  I always liked that Art Deco font on it.

Courtesy of King Bruce of course!!!

Just catching up on this thread...wow, some great stuff posted recently.

That double panel for la belle et la bete is just perfect - the film, the art, the typography, the size/format. I think would be in my top 10 fave posters of all time.
