Rounding off all things Dr No for now, an Insert that will greet both me and visitors to my flat.

Indeed, the only reason I bought this was because I was by then imagining I would never find the French Dr No curiosity.  Of course, in the best tradition of buses all coming at once, so too did the French poster surface just moments after the Insert had been bought.

All framed in the same fashion as the French one.  Didn't require backing, so just conservation corner mounts, a matt, museum standard, 99% UV protecting, non-reflecting glass.

As some of you know, I don't like framed posters on my walls, but yesterday I finally caved and hanged my old frame, and today I put a poster in it.  I couldn't find anything, so I went for something accessible, and that was a Star Wars B0.  It's a little small for the frame, but it works.

Could not agree more.  One piece up is plenty for me.  I just have to find the right one.

It does.   We're redecorating our landing, etc, and Yvonne said a light Blue, which I thought wouldn't work, but it really does on yours, may give it a re-think..

Thanks.  I don't know about splendid, but neat for sure, which is not easy with two little monsters running around.  Thankfully, they have their area, and we have ours.  Plus, we're walking distance to the beach and there are tons of parks around here, so they can raise hell somewhere else.  Yeah, right, wishful thinking :)

Not to get all zen master and feng shui on you, but the light blue might work well when spiritually reflecting an ocean just outdoors with a sun to light it to its satisfactory best.

Not to denigrate the north of England any but if the above is a consideration, then so too might a dowdy grey with mottled highlights for your walls.

All said, tongue in cheek with a hint of truth.

Right, and blocking the path in such a narrow space.  Also, combustibles in a stairwell would be a powerful incendiary.  If a door to the stairwell opens in a fire, the stairwell acts as a chimney, which could trap people on the upper floors.

A mural or something like that would be best in such a space.  I know someone who has a rad mural going up a similar style stairwell.  I'll snap a photo of it sometime.

While the home is being remodeled, I figured it would be a good time to finally take some photos of the mural I mentioned.

I think the guy did a great job, capturing the vibrancy of some of the local wildlife and all.

Wow, that is some mural, Brandon - and encompassing walls on 2 floors. Plus, the artwork looks really nice, too.

What would you say the total length is?

Yes, sir.  Florida.

Thanks.  The attention to detail is quite good.  I should take a few close up shots to show how realistic many of the features are.

Yeah, it's easy to forget just the magnitude of it, as there's a nice flow about it when you walk in.  It's about 35 feet long.

Scarface One Sheet - From the first Argentinean release 1944 - artwork by Venturi

Mark

Mark, could you possibly re-post this image? Would love to see what Venturi did for this first release poster.
