After much consideration, I am finally hanging some stuff at the new place.  I will take some better pictures once I am closer to completion.

That looks very neat. Perfect hanging. All well aligned. Do you use any specific  tools? Or just the usual? thumbsup.gif

Could I suggest people stick a line break in between their photos - just to create some separation 'n' stuff.

Line break done!

No special tools Rosa.  Just a tape measure, pencil, and time to measure carefully.  The toughest part of that room is the 10 foot ceilings.  It makes measuring the vertical tougher.

STBs (aka tatsumi, tatekan, etc...) are made from two B2s stacked vertically 20x58" -- about the size of a US door panel.

Thanks for bumping those Wonka, a sight to behold for sure!

Have the first two got borders, or is that linen backing?

Nice, nonetheless.

That is probably linen backing... those two posters do not have bright white borders.  Nearly all Japanese posters re full bleed, but there are some exceptions.

Ok, cheers.

'Tis a pity the third poster is not backed to provide that same border effect, as that would appeal to my sense of conformity.

Thanks for the tatekan size info, matt.

And here is a post with 2 out of 3 of the STBs before idioteque framed them, tho one was already backed:

Lyn and Wonka, both some spectacular stuff!  faint2.gif

I know its not a movie poster but really wanted to share this one.

Finally got off my rear and framed the first of what is now a growing Christy collection. Went with a dark blue mat and black with brown frame which works really well between the lamp and the curtains it is next too which are a navy blue with white. I am incredibly happy I did not restore this and just cleaned and backed it as is. It makes it look that much better to me, 97 years old and still looking great.
