We had to make an important change to our website, eMoviePoster.com, and I just sent the following email to all our 24,000+ active registered users, but I wanted to post it here as well for anyone who missed that email:

"IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 4/12/2025
As you may have noticed, the Auction History portion of our site, at https://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archive.html, has sometimes been deactivated the past few days (when this happens, you can't access it and you get a message it is "under maintenance").

This Auction History has over two million results and images in it, and we have always had it completely free and accessible to everyone and anyone. But now we can no longer have it that way, because search engines and other sites constantly search through it copying the data, and that puts a strain on our entire site, making it hard for actual registered users to make use of both the Auction History and the active auctions.

SO EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, YOU MUST BE LOGGED IN TO OUR SITE, "https://www.emovieposter.com/" TO VIEW AND USE OUR AUCTION HISTORY AT "https://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archive.html".

Note that this is NOT the same as being logged in for our auctions, which are run by a third party, auctionanything.com

HERE IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO LOG IN TO OUR SITE:
1) GO TO https://www.emovieposter.com/
2) CLICK ON "Log In" IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER
3) THAT TAKES YOU TO A PAGE TO SIGN IN
4) SIGN IN AND NOW YOU CAN VIEW AND USE THE ENTIRE AUCTION HISTORY AT https://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archive.html

That is all you have to do. We will likely soon add some instructions about this to the site, but until we do so you have to follow the above steps. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it does let all logged in registered users access the Auction History and that is what really matters!

To sum up:

1) STARTING IMMEDIATELY, ONLY LOGGED IN REGISTERED USERS CAN ACCESS OUR AUCTION HISTORY AT https://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archive.html
2) FOR NOW, YOU MUST FOLLOW THE ABOVE SIMPLE STEPS TO DO SO

OF COURSE, WE CAN'T GUARANTEE THAT THE SITES CAUSING THIS PROBLEM MAY NOT FIND A WAY AROUND WHAT WE HAVE DONE, AND IF SO WE WILL AGAIN DEACTIVATE THE AUCTION HISTORY UNTIL WE FIND A LASTING SOLUTION, BUT HOPEFULLY THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN."
We (eMoviePoster.com) hold 3,000 to 4,000 auctions every four weeks.
We have auctioned more movie paper for more money (in real sales) than any auction in the world.
We have the longest continuously running auctions of any auction, with over 1,948,280 to date from over 3,306 consignors.
See all of our current auctions in one gallery here: http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/all.html
