I also picked up this quad for the re-release of My Neighbour Totoro. Love the film and I don't think it has ever had a quad before? I can't remember seeing one for the original release (I have one which is a double bill with Grave of the Fireflies)/
I recently purchased this beautiful French 22 x 31 first release poster for Laura (1944, but not released in France until 1946), among the greatest film noirs of all time, based on a fantastic book by Vera Caspary. I don't really love the art on the various US posters for that film, and I find the moody graphics here much more interesting and atmospheric. French paper for this title is remarkably elusive, so this is quite a nice addition to the budding film noir subsection of my collection.
Thanks Tob and Struzaholic! I just dropped my Laura poster at the framer today, along with another French poster for Bride of Frankenstein (R1946), which I've been meaning to frame for a while but never got around to until now. I think they will work well together once framed, their graphic styles and colors really compliment each other.
Bloody hell, what a pair of beauties
Some new 3 sheets added. Been waiting a while for the x rated Clockwork Orange to come around.
I was mistaken,
