This one just arrived from the middle east.  One of my favorite movies.  This style captures the essence of the movie much better than the more common styles IMO.

Interesting Miami Vice poster Neo, certainly has more action than the domestic 1-sheets. Always nice to find alternative art, especially if it's for a film you love.

Nice pick up, Neo. I really like Miami Vice too - a stylish film. It goes very well with Thief and Heat.

Thanks, y'all.  Okie, it's a little over 27"x37".

Mr. Mann's work is amazing.  The boat scenes in this movie are so good.  I was a little surprised that the more common artworks didn't feature any of the awesome scenes in Miami.  The well known actors' mean mugs probably draw more folks in than cinematic scenes.

I received this quad for Graveyard Shift recently. It's not the finest Stephen King adaptation, but I've always really liked the art on the quad. Illlustration by Les Edwards and designed by Vic Fair

Agreed, it's a very striking poster for a less-than-stellar movie.  Nice pick up Tob.

I have to echo the others, great artwork! I considered starting a Stephen King collection once but quickly realised it would be quite a big collection to complete.

Ha, funny you should say that...  I have been collecting his books diligently, I have 62 out of 76, all first edition, first print, mint DJ, spine and book, which makes it much harder to find than movie posters.  Still missing Salem's Lot but I'm on the fence about spending $10k on a mint copy.  Then I decided a few months ago to put all his posters together.  Still missing a lot there too, I don't have the one above (really nice btw), but this thread reminds me I should get back at it.

Is Salem's Lot the most expensive title or is it because the condition is so good?

You have a great collection of King posters there. A complete King collection would be a challenge because of his made for TV films and Video only releases, but I guess this would only add to the fun in tracking them all down.

It all depends.  You have people collecting signed books.  I have a few of those, but only if a page has been added specifically for the signature.  Otherwise, I don't believe in them and I think they're all fake, much like posters.  Those tend to sell for a lot more... $20k, $30k.  Then you have small editions of some books, 100, 200, different DJ, those sell for a lot too.  I only collect unsigned first edition, and in that group, yes, Salem's Lot is the most expensive.

Yes, I'm far behind on King, but like I said, he has never been a major collecting niche of mine.  But now I'm thinking maybe it should be hahaha

Tob: Geez, your Graveyard Shift poster is great and totally creepy!  Awesome!

T: I sure scared the crap out of myself Reading King's books back in the 1970s and 1980s. It was wonderful! Back in the 1980s, I used to perform a prose reading of King's "Strawberry Spring" short story for drama competition and for fun. Good times.  King had a house near a store that my brother managed and would come in now and then.  My brother said King was very cool to everyone when they recognized him. Congrats on having a great collection of his firsts.  I still look for his firsts when I see his books in junk shops etc.

This particular one I have been after a decent example of for more than twenty years and am very happy to say that I finally have it in hand. The Japanese Seito B0. One more B0 to go, the ESB, and all three get framed and put on a wall.
