Please anyone don't iron a poster, unless it something you are prepared to ruin or you have tested before. Too much can go wrong without detailed instructions (damage to the paper and to the colours). Note normal air temperature fluctuations is just as damaging to a poster as UV, so imagine what an iron will do. Need to consider the iron temperature, how to apply moisture (likely not water or mist, but maybe 100% humidity controlled enclosure and for how long, what surfaces placed under and over the poster, is it an old or new poster...
I'd consider advice from respected dealers / restorers re ironing before attempting on any of my posters.

Probably best bet is just to lay it flat with equal pressure on top of it, for weeks or months. Maybe put a sheet of barrier paper (rice paper) between the poster and what is on top of it
