I only WISH I owned it, okie. I was just toying with you.

But I did watch the auction with real interest. I'm normally not one to like or want signatures on posters, but in this case, I would have made an exception, without thinking about it twice.  bed1

And, you would have chosen wisely, Jeff!  Incredible poster.  I like signatures and history connected to posters as well.  Mary Philbin signature, wow!  Okie

Looks like Aqua Man has sharks as his minions on that poster, Brandon. Cool poster.

He kind of has an underwater, Hugh Jackman-Wolverine kind of look going on, too.  cool1

Did you ever watch the animated Aqua Man on TV, as a kid?

The seasons from the lates 60s and early 70s were a little before my time, so they weren't on tv, unfortunately.  They look classic especially compared to some of the various iterations from the 2000s.

The poster piqued my interest for the movie. As you said, all the sea life appear to be under Aquaman's control, like he's the Lord of the seas, with Atlantis in the background, etc. 8)

I had no idea they first started on TV in 1967, either. I sure I saw them later on, in re-reuns, on Saturday mornings, when we all got up to watch the blocks of cartoons. (Or maybe the re-reuns were on, after school, too. I dont really remember, to be honest).
