Yea lol. THe discount would have been nice. I could have bought extra sleeves.

Does anyone live in the Alamo Downtown area by any chance? The monster squad posters i think go on sale this week by the theater. If someone can that would be amazing. I can hook you up with 10 free movie tickets to an AMC or Regal theater. They work anytime.

THere are going to be two shows now so getting these posters face will be hard. I see them on going on ebay next day right away.

Good to see this thread here. Just started collecting, managed to get Amelie, Phantom of the Opera, Tremors, Basket Case & the Warrior. Missed out on Bettlejuice. Damn!

Imaginarium up at Mondo.  I couldn't care less about the movie, but I'm a big fan of Martin Ansin and I really like this one.

Yeah I was kinda disappointed to see that all the characters werent portrayed .. but then it may have started to look like a stout piece (which Im not always too fond of):P I do love ansin's work though THe more I look a tthe pictures of this with the details in the boarder and all the more Im glad I picked it up.. I just cant wait to see it in person.

LOL .. I think im a curse for Mondos posters .. Typically if I like it, it sits on the site for a day or two before its sold out .. last one being Clash of the Titans .. Although I did fight for my Gremlins ;)

You've hit the nail on the head there. Anyone producing character pieces now are going to come across too much like Stout prints.

There will be a blue variant and a red regular, and it looks really cool.  But again, I can't say much more.

Thanks for sharing what you could Thierry! :)

These went on sale about 30 mins ago in Austin .. all I can do now is sit back and hope a few make it till Tue .. and then pray that I am online when they decide to sell them .. and then beg that I am one of the few to click fast enough to pick up one of these !!! :P

Everyone should buy multiple copies !!! Im sure some of us would take them off your hands !! ;)

"January 9, 2009"?  Shouldn't it read "January 9, 2010" on the poster, or has it taken a year to reach the secondary market?

Yes there was a mistake on the poster. Two actually. One is the date is of the wrong year and the second is that it is not a Rated "R" movie. PG-13 actually.  The first 100 were printed and went to Mondo's and when they were selling them they noticed it. They contacted the printer to get the remaining copies corrected but it was to late they had already been printed. They figure that is probably best anyway now, so there's not a frenzy on the error version or the correct version. There is just one version that is wrong for good or bad.

I think the artwork is great either way.

That was weird, firefox and safari could not get the credit card info validated, IE worked. Would have been PO'd if I missed these!

Tried 3 cards on firefox, so it was not user error  ;)
