Any chance they can be limited to the Home Theater section? Or just ban them altogether.

I have no opinion on the above, but there is something HA has been doing for a little while that really bugs, imo.

What is up with these "& Other Lot" BS????  It's so annoying.  Most of the times, the posters have nothing to do with the posters on display.  If I was a seller, I'd be pissed.  Why do they even accept these posters if they're going to shove them with another one?

I had no hate at all until I saw this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvLFEh7V18A
This said, nothing new.

I donít think thereís a way to filter out from the Ďmost recent postsí link

I hadnít noticed as I donít tend to browse that way here, but I assume the issue is they re-post the same post every day? If so, what would be bearable amount? Twice a week? I can send Bruce Carterton a private message to ask for a change in habit.

an ad at the start of the week and a reminder on the auction day itself are surely all that is needed  ??? (but i am a big fan of crowz 2nd option)

We've seen this happen time and time again, crooks and criminals are always to be found.

Feeling bad for collectors that have had their hobby decimated. Nothing kills a hobby faster than the entry of 'investors'.

For a slightly shorter video, from someone who actually collects in that realm (you know, the kind of people the original poster should talk to)

Hmmm, not convinced by this video and even less by his arguments.   The few comments are fine though, some commenters are on point, this guy's argumentation is lame :)

Distrust is a well known strategy used by politicians, that narrative is called "Ad Hominem" and I think this video ticks all cases of ad hominem.
Using distrut by attacking personal attributes of a person instead of bringing counter-arguments is a big no for me and limit fallacious, a great way to reply without any substance.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem

It's the COVID? And the originator of the video is a clickbait guy and unknow to many so it has no ground?  And MadDog is not an investor, ahaha, and not biased.   He is 100% bias!   Well done to Karl for exposing this (and all the other whistleblowers or investigators bloggers, known or unknown).

Anyway, I am not in the collecting biz... some will say that collecting is a business like any other business and they want profit... yeah, blahblah, the law of the market... willing buyer, willing seller...   and the usual tricks (grading, shill bidding, underwriting).   Nothing new, just sad to see that everything is turned into a commodity, mostly by daddy's boys who finished MBA.  There is no innocence anymore, everything is planned if not master planned - sneakers, liveshow tickets, LPs, pokemon cards, etc.  I wonder what's the pleasure of collecting if it is all about money and market manipulation... and let me add another one, all fake, because these MBA boys are now doing crypto.

Thanks for that video, always interesting to hear a reply.

I don't get the collecting of video games myself, and even less of VHS tapes, but certainly what I collect doesn't make sense for a lot of people either.
Just collect what I enjoy, and whatever happens, happens.
Thankfully, my family won't need to worry about monetizing it when I'm gone, so up or down is fine.

I always thought that.  People who invest in collectibles such as posters thinking that it will eventually pay for their kids college education are crazy, imo.  Collecting is just a hobby and should not be seen as an investment.

And how many EMP August auction promos (or send us stuff fors)are we going to have to endure?
I clicked on one by accident and that is a couple seconds of my life I will never get back (though I heard if you read all the way to the bottom of one of his posts you win some sort of perseverance award).
