Not quite Joneyyy, notice the one you posted a picture of above is printed on a piece of sheet metal.  That is the one he is looking for.  The one in the ebay auction is on paper.

This from a very old post, going way back to the start of APF, but when I just read that this Stout poster was actually printed on a piece of sheet metal, I thought that was very cool, let alone unique. Does anyone know how many of these were produced? I would think the number would have been pretty small.

It's a run of 35 according to Expresso Beans.

There are a few other prints on metal (Stout Drive, Stout Iron Man 2, Ansin Man of Steel, Durieux Die Hard, Taylor Terminator 2), but I think Robocop and T2 are the best examples as they fit the art pretty well.

Thanks, Tob. cheers

Seeing this example today in that old post was the first time I'd ever seen a poster done on a metal sheet before.

The last sale (private sale) was $2350 earlier this year. Prior to that, one went for $4k on ebay in 2014:

I imagine you'd need ~$3k to pry one loose.

I have a metal Robocop purchased from Alamo at the time of its initial release - can't remember how much I paid. I tried to buy a metal Iron Man 2 directly from Tyler Stout some months after its release - he had a small batch left - but he was reluctant/nervous to ship one internationally. I remember speaking with a fellow UK collector - we were going to order three or four to make the order and packing worthwhile for Tyler but couldn't find anyone else to join in.

There any history of flaking on any of the metal? I have stayed away from non paper runs just due to the PITA in storage.

No, its immaculate but then its never been displayed - I wouldn't know how to frame it.  As for other materials I never went for any of their wood editions but I'm sure I have a cloth edition for something.

Run of $35.. $275 cost. It's probably the best Metal Mondo poster, maybe T2 by Ken Taylor being second.
This is the print that got me into Mondo and the whole screen printing scene.
