Haha quality, I must get to Camden this year then, sod the cheap prices I'm in for the sticky carpet ;D

Will definitely take pictures of both Camden and Westminster flyers tomorrow so we all have the dates.

The stalls are on the ballroom part (wooden floor) at Camden, as if you dropped a poster on the carpeted part, you wouldn't get it back up as they stick to it... :D

Lets hope those U.S. dealers go, I may get that DGFM Half sht for $650... ;)

Nice pictures, AP!
Lots of cool items in that room.
Can anyone ID any of those dealers?

But, the burning question here: what did Agent Ian purchase for his collection?

Had a quick chat with this dude, thought he might have been a member here but he said he was only on MOPO (forgot to ask his name!).

This couple had an amazing wall of lobby cards... and they nearly sold me a gnarly Goldfinger one with Bond and Oddjob for £30.

First picture is my good buddy Cory Glaberson

second pic is my other good buddy Lee Brinsmead and his loverly wife Sharon and in case you didn't realize this, most of the lobby cards Lee has displayed are reproductions

I was thinking those lobbies on display looked a little off.  And now I know why...

Thanks, Rich!
I've bought from Cory Glaberson before...rock solid.
Brinsmead and Vanderbeek (sounds like a Viking Cop movie, eh?)... do they have websites or Ebay ID's we might recognize?

Randy sells on ebay but I don't recall his username
Lee does not. he has a store up in Portland though.

on the lobby cards.. his back display is almost all repros, but his books (not including the repro books he sets up at the left of his display) are real cards

It's funny, but that "Randy Vanderbeek" is a dead ringer for lobby card collector/dealer Randy Ringgenberg, who I've known for 25 years and who goes to tons of shows like these.

Ringgenberg is Vanderbeek's doppelganger?

In the olde days when Voorhees was still with us, Brinsmead, Vanderbeek & Ringgenberg performed weekly at the Slaughtered Lamb.

Those are some good photos AP, I might have to check that out next year. Like the photo where one guy has an AWOL record bag, brings back some memories!

The Arg convention looks good fun too, I imagine it's hard not to splash out on a poster or two when seeing them in person like that.

Are there any upcoming events like this in the USA? Preferably near (or in) Florida?

Glad the photos were of interest, 110x75 thanks for posting yours as well... now just to create a new thread called 'Movie Poster Events... that have happened'.

Thanks for putting names to faces Rich, they were all very nice and friendly, but I think Lee (Brinsmead) wasn't impressed I didn't go for his original Goldfinger card. I did check with them as I noticed all the stuff on their wall looked like photo copies, but I think something got lost in translation as I thought they were just there as placeholders and they had the originals tucked away!

The reason I was thinking about buying a Goldfinger piece will become evident below...

Oh, Brude, yep there were a couple of purchases yesterday, will hold off on posting until another couple of tubes arrive. Rest assured imo my first four purchases of 2012 (and the final one from 2011... should be arriving Monday) are scrumptious ;D

Here's the flyer for the Camden Film Fair 2012

And here's the front and back of the LFMC 2012 flyer

Y'all notice at the LFMC event on September 22 they've got a special GOLDFINGER day, this is what it says on their website:

A special GOLDFINGER Day
A Celebration Of The Quintessential James Bond Film!
Cast and Crew Reunite For A One-Off Unique Event

Special Guest: HONOR BLACKMAN (Pussy Galore)
Special Guest: SHIRLEY EATON (Jill Masterson)
Special Guest: TANIA MALLETT (Tilly Masterson)
Special Guest: MARGARET NOLAN (Dink)
MORE GUESTS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!

That's why I'm going to try and get a nice beaten up and cheapo Goldfinger item to try and get all the girls to autograph (might even try and get a photo with all of them!!!!). How cool would that be 8)

I'm not much of a Bond guy and I know the ladies are a bit older,...but the thought of meeting some of the GOLDFINGER girls sends a shiver down my backbone.
Good luck Agent Ian, we're pullin' for you...

                                                           Thanks for the pics! cheers

Hey Rich, doesn't Lee have a shop RIALTO (?) in Seattle? I think I've spent quite a nice (smoke-fueled) afternoon the year I also visited your ragged place and Dario's. I bought a few original Moon And Sixpence lobbies from him, but yes most is repro. As he told me repro's of originals he used to have. Great shop by the way, not only posters, but also nice toys and other such stuff.

If it's the same labyrinthian shop that I'm thinking about, I went in there once in the mid-90s.  The wife was super-super nice and had some great toys, Lee was kind of a jerk when it came to the actual sale and rather pervy, which is why I've never bothered to go back.  I had no idea that they were still in business.
