Nay worries, just happened to notice it was on and had a look at the live feed/sound type thing... wasn't sure about giving a running commentary but thought it might amuse.

Regarding the re-release Italian Job quad, yeah probably too high for a recent poster (although they seem quite rare), unless someone bought one for around £10 when they were first available ;)

Is there a list of the results somewhere?  I bid on a few items but I have no idea what, if anything, that I won...

Harry, go to:

http://www.cameo-auctioneers.co.uk/film-posters-auction-department

Then click on 'the-sale-room.com' logo on the right of the page. You should get this page then:

http://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/auction-catalogues/cameo-auctioneers-and-valuers#

Click the 'Watch Live' button and it should bring up all the lots, you can click on any one you want and should get the 'sold' price'.

Let me know if it works!

Yup, worked like a charm.  Thanks... but unfortunately I didn't win anything.  Not much action though... I put in low bids and I was usually the 2nd high bidder.

Someone got a FOH lobby sets for Dance of the Vampires and The Ipcress File for quite cheap!  Same goes for many of the bond posters...

Amazing, you just never know with auctions, I do have DOTV set. I wish I'd bid on the Ipcress File set though, but I fell out with Cameo due to their incompetence, so don't tend to look at their auctions.

How about they move that thing to a city like Chicago?

You know. Like a place out of town people actually want to go to. Columbus? Really? All they have there is NCAA cheaters.

Have you ever been to one of those things?  I have and swore to never go again.  So depressing.  Trust me, Columbus is the perfect location.

Old actors that no one has heard from in years trying to make a few bucks selling autographed pictures...  I understand people need to make a living, but it's just not my scene.  I attended one of those in LA a few years ago with Jeannie (yeah, the Jeannie) and left with suicidal thoughts.

LOL  You should go to comic cons.  It the exact same situation except with washed up wrestlers added for good measure.  Oh, if Lou Ferrigno isn't there charging people for allowing them to be in his presence, then it's not an official convention

I've been to Comic Con... but at least you have the fanboys.  It makes the whole thing more fun and agreeable (at least IMO).

Ive never been to a poster or comic convention but I have been to quite a few sports memorabilia shows and most of them were pretty cool.

I have gotten autographs from such all time greats as Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Eric Dickerson, Gale Sayers, and Gordie Howe.  ;D

For some reason I thought maybe movie shows would also be cool but I guess not...Nevermind then...Ohio is perfect.

One plus is that they tend to have some scantily clad women there (in costume).  Nice eye candy when you can find it

Don't dis Ohio...you don't know what you are talking about.

Columbus is interesting, however.  Should be in Indianapolis...that place is the 'meeting/convention' capital of the country.
I think Columbus is just where the organizers live, plain and simple...no reason other than that.

Cinevent has NEVER had old actors selling autographs at their convention.
You are thinking of the Hollywood Collector's Show.

Zorba, I am just giving you grief too, my man...all in good fun.

And Sean is correct, that is probably at the HCS. Unless Sean will be signing at his booth this year...?

Obviously you've never been to Cinevent but will make up your mind it sucks even before you go.  Your loss.  Cinevent is a film festival.  Not a Comic Con, autograph session, or some other terrible BS event.  It a great weekend of classic films and it just so happens that there are a lot of poster and film dealers who go to buy and sell.  The Last Moving Picture Company also has an auction that weekend, but seeing as most of the dealers don't stock much post 1970 or have any Alamo crap, you'll probably not be interested in what they have at their booths.
