If my work day ends soon enough, I'd sure love to.

Sounds like it will be a blend of various scores and movie themes and his imagery, somehow projected or likely all timed to flow with the live music being played.

It sounds like it would be a fun event for sure, Ted.

A few odds and sods here.  Some early Bonds.  Reissue Dr No and multiple examples of Connery quads.  Not sure how auctioning two examples of the same poster in the same auction works, but there we go...

I think this 'may' have been this auctioneers' first stab at posters.  The chap said it 'was a bit of an attic find.'

Results were good, especially since in a couple of instances, more than one copy of each was for sale.

Some of the £ prices realised prior to BP

Goldfinger – 3400
Live and Let Die – 600
Live and Let Die – 750
OHMSS – 650
Thunderball – 2800
Thunderball – 3000
DR NO RR – 700

I would have suggested Goldfinger to be all in at £3k, and Thunderball to be all in at £2k.  Well done to them.

Does it quite work though?

Does there not need to be a black quadrant in the lower half of what I am presuming to be the B?

Don't over think it. It's just like that because all good designs have been taken

If the black quadrant was added to the b would also need for the P... Besides then there would be holes going through each poster!

True.

Perhaps then the B quadrant should not be upper right, but mid right and rotated 45 degrees to suggest the space between the two circular bits...

Dunno.  Still not sure I approve.  Looks a bit 70's.

You mean Excalibur Auctions...  ;D

I don't think they can call this a Thunderball UK Quad...when it's four crowns.

Chorley have an auction coming up, to be found on Invaluable.

But such is their photography whereby all the posters look creased and held up by blutak, I am not sure if they know what's what.

And then there's this.

https://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/james-bond-007-british-quad-poster-thunderball-vi-b604b8881b

The US 30x40 is called a UK quad, and they don't show the complete poster with all edges!  Looking at the rest of their presentation, it seems par for the course.

Does anyone know what this is?  It is as US as the above poster is British.

Grief!  And this, which is in fact a Danish reissue...

Hopeless bunch.
