This is a big boy auction, for sure.

I figure, if I don't eat or leave my apartment for the next 6 months, I might be able to afford it.  Or, I could live in my car and get rid of my apartment.  But it's a 3 sheet, and I don't know if it would fit on my car.  I might be able to use it as a blanket.
Aaaaaaaand I'm an addict.  Rock bottom?

It's on linen.. so rolled up, it would be a snap, if need be! (and it's about 83" long on linen. Draped over the car from front to back, it would be up and off the ground, right?)  ;D

I know Rosa said she is lusting after some non-Bogie pieces in the upcoming Heritage auction, but I look at a piece as beautiful as this and think... Damnnnnnn that's sweet.

That sure is sweet! Love the old cars and Bogie and woman. Italian posters show more art rather than covered in writing

Yes there are a plethora of foreign bogies...

I dont know who has the other 2 Scarface halfsheets...but the pre ” shame of a nation”
Would fit nicely with Ralph's Little Caeser & Public Enemy one sheets..

I cant 100% tell by the description but it looks like the trimmed Gold Rush window card
From Hake's had a quick fix up

Is the 3 ages one sheet the only paper ever publicly auctioned on this title?

For sure, Steve. Some Italian pieces can be true 'stunners' giving so called 'fine art' a run for the money, in many cases.  :)

Can we discuss this for a moment?

12 to 24 Estimate at HA.  That's not tens of dollars but THOUSANDS.  Whaaa???  The US OS is a work of art.
This is the work of, well, I'm assuming a blind man.

When this poster originally was auctioned in May of this year, it sold for a mere $3000.00.

So even if it sold for the current, minimum opening bid of $6K, the original sales price will double.  ;D

As one of the insane bidders on the mummy piece originally when it closed for $3k I did a lot of research both myself and with the help of some other helpful members of this forum trying to find out when it was possibly printed and true origins to no real avail. The results put it, though still an early poster, likely not from 1933. A quote from a conversation with the original seller "We could not find the exact date of the poster release. We do know it was issued sometime around 1936.".

The original photos before slight editing from, insert whomever you wish to blame here for not knowing when to lay off the contrast and saturation, had much flatter colors and looks a little more washed out. Frankly I think the original images make it look better than the one posted by HA. Not a terribly large fan of how it as done artwise either but a mummy is a mummy is a mummy.

Agree here.

The added (and unnecessary) saturation makes it look more like a reproduced print, rather than a (vintage) poster from the period.
