A first release 4-foglio and 2-foglio for Psycho, that I hadn't seen before, featuring only Anthony Perkins (actor-wise). Both are dated 1960 in the lower left border corner:

Grand Illusion is from the 1946 rerelease.

One day I would like to acquire a French poster for this film. But I have too many Mexican posters to buy first!

Interesting choice by the Italians to put this great image of Christopher Lee on the locandina for The Blood Beast Terror (1968)--when he isn't even in the movie.

And poor Peter Cushing.. skipped over totally here. $:-\$

And here lies the problem with Italian paper... I'm just checking Bruce's auction for this afternoon, and he has a lot of good stuff I'd love to get, but of course the condition is horrible on most pieces so I'm passing. The best looking posters on the worst paper - A travesty.

I second that. The Italian posters in many cases are true pieces of art but the paper they are printed on if not backed early often becomes so brittle it disintegrates if touched with even moderate pressure. Probably one reason I have not been able to get my Italian Rodan yet.
