Fantastic collection Adam. I think you have found the perfect auction venue here in the UK and I'm well impressed with the exclusivity.

Thank you  cheers
And I do too, Mark.
You just know when something fits right, and Prop Store from the get-go gave me that feeling and then everything else fell into place from that point.

Let me tell you...this isn't all of it either.
Best wishes,
Adam

Adam, Why ARE you selling it?

A transition? A change in direction in your life? Or just the allure (and need) of cold, hard (potential) cash?

Or simply your wife wanting it all gone, and you agreeing?  ;D  ;)

Hey Jeff,

It's definitely not for financial reasons - if that was the case I could have sold it privately 10 times over. At the same time I was never going to let it go for cheeky dealer offerings. By that, I mean dealers and/or collectors offering less than 50% of value for certain items.

I always said that if I ever sold it then it would be around the 25th film or the 60th anniversary.

I've been talking with Prop Store about the collection since November 2018 and it just felt right, so I went for it.

I don't have the time to show the love it deserves and there's not much I don't have, so the search was getting a bit tiresome with everything else going on in my life and again is something I could no longer commit to on such a big level.

The wife doesn't mind the collection; she admires my expertise over it and accepts my unhealthy obsession with the field, hence why I'm keeping the reference website.
Best wishes,
Adam

It looks like it's going to be an amazing auction! You may no longer have these items in your collection but you'll have a nice brochure documenting them. Hope it all goes well for you.

Sir, when you say this, do you infer there will be a further auction?  Or are you holding items back for your personal interest?

The catalogue will be an amazing memento, that's for sure!

Both, though there won't be standalone auctions next time as it's unfair on other vendors, which I fully understand.

Adam

Well done with the auction Adam, a great success I think. I may not agree with your politics but the best Bond collection I have ever seen, so you obviously know your Bonds!!  Not sure about the other B in your life though1 :) Look forward to see part two..

Thank you very much.

I know Bond posters more than most hence my ability to curate such a collection, however, and most importantly, I have been in a fantastic position to help so many others in their search and education in the field from beginners to stalwarts. It has been and will continue to be an honour.
Best wishes,
Adam
