Todd Feiertag Interview - 10.9.2018
« on: November 30, 2018, 12:27:40 PM »
newandmoviesradio.com (andy rawls - who was a former APF member) recently did a pod-cast interview with Todd Feiertag, on Oct 9, 2018, in which TF talks about his poster collecting history, poster collecting, in general, his 1997 Sothebys sale, and so on.

Rawls sounds a bit awkward and scripted in his questioning, but its great when he lets TF expound on various topics.

Likely done, when his MUMMY US OS was again going to be offered at Sothebys on Oct 31st, 2018.

Good stuff, to be able to hear directly from TF.  thumbsup.gif

Great interview.  How much way back when for one of his first posters - a Ghost of Frankenstein OS? About tree fiddy.  8)

A lot of interesting history.

I finally got time to listen to this podcast. I have no idea who the interviewer is but he seemed to be solely concerned with Todd's acquisitions of posters. There was no discussion of style, Todd's perspective on changing tastes over the past two generations, changing values etc. With Todd's longtime experience as both a collector and a dealer I think so much more could have been gleaned that would have created a far more informative discussion.
