As discussed therein, Spielberg personally convinced all the corporations to "loan" their characters to WFRR. But it's far too risque and politically incorrect to allow a sequel - despite its $700 million (inflation adjusted) theatre revenue - and for corps like Disney to "sully" their characters now!
