Best ways to sell Russian propaganda poster?
« on: March 27, 2018, 03:01:52 PM »
I picked up a Russian propaganda poster from ww ii era at an estate sale. Im too lazy to post it at the moment but I guess I can pull it up if you insist...

Anyhow it has Hitler and GOebels caricatures addressing a line of german soldiers and in the lower half it shows their graves and such.  Because it has Nazi imagery I decided to pull it from ebay.

So how to go about selling it? craigs list, face book, etsy etc?

I dont think Im likely to take it to an auction house, my anecdotal evidence makes me think auction houses are not good places to sell these on. At least the auctions I have been to. Not sure why.

Here is a link to the poster;

ebay has a ban on selling stuff w/ nazi symbol. UNLESS.....It was produced before 1934. Which is weird yeah but I d0nt want to get into trouble over there.
