New today. Not really had any interest in posters before but inherited around 20 Royal opera House, Opera and Ballet posters mainly from the 70's and 80's. Are these collectable? I haven't found anywhere on the net so far that discusses them, but found this forum so maybe some collectors here. Any advice on storage (currently rolled) display, sourcing others etc would be helpful.

Sounds like an interesting collection you inherited. You should post some pics when you have the time. We'd love to see them.

You have a couple options to display pics here. One -  you need to upload them to a photo hosting site like flickr, then copying and pasting the image url address of that pic into the image tags by clicking on the little button that looks a bit like the Mona Lisa. It will place the image tags on your screen and paste the url in between them.

it would look like this (i made up a generic image url for the example):

[ img ]www.flickr.com/xxxxxx.jpg[ /img ]

The 2nd, quicker way is, when you have your posting window open, click on " +Attachments and other options" right below the message window. You can then browse, select and add pics directly from your phone or pc that way:

Hi hoges. I just wanted to add my greetings as well. Jeff is correct. There are a lot of fine people on here. Hopefully you'll find other with similar tastes/collections.
