Hello all!

New member (tcowden) here. Just started collecting. Currently focused only on double-sided one sheets, but I know it will likely expand beyond that. I've been exploring various websites, forums, vendors, etc. trying to absorb as much shared knowledge as possible. Biggest concern I have right now is being able to identify a real original from a copy or reprint. I live in the Denver, Colorado area.

Do you look for certain genres or themes? Or are you focusing on a certain time period more than others?

I do not recommend sellers, pretty much ever, but if you want a genuine modern poster and if you want it in mint condition, he is your man.  I can't think of anyone I trust more.

I bought a Blade Runner 2049 poster on the spur of the moment after seeing the movie on opening night. (Always been a HUGE fan of the original.) It was double sided so I found a front loading LED backlit frame for it online.

Not content with only the one poster, I picked up some more from "modern" movies that I've really enjoyed, and would watch again and again. To keep my collecting in check, I chose to focus on near-mint double-sided posters with artwork that I think will look good backlit. Unfortunately I don't have much space to hang framed posters, so I'll be switching them out regularly.

So far I've picked up Gladiator, Fifth Element, Moulin Rouge, Ex Machina, Sucker Punch, Skyfall and a few others. I've got quite a few more on my wanted list, but they'll have to wait until I replenish the coffers.
