Picked up these Frank McCarthy preliminary drafts recently. There are some fairly spectacular films represented here, and even some of the lesser films have extraordinary art. Hope you enjoy!

Ha! Well the good news is, you don't have to do anything too bad, just open that check book.  thumbsup.gif The bad news is, someone already did!

Cracking stuff.

He does giddy angles, outrageous perspectives and action so so well...  The first Dark of the Sun and all the Where Eagles Dare stuff is supreme.

No one does a poster like McCarthy! The way he was captures intense action is unlike anything I've seen before. I am fortunate to own a final (but seemingly unpublished) painting for Ice Station Zebra. The mood he is able to set, the feeling of tension, is simply masterful. I am so honored to have these in my possession, for however long that is.

Amazing acquisitions - the first Green Berets piece is my favourite.

Just viewing these now.

What a smoking collection you were able to grab.

Did you acquire all of these at the same time? Were they all included in the same grouping or lot?

These are fantastic.
