Does it still make fun of me when I say Thierry hates "French Grande"?

Love the Friday the 13th 2 Thai poster. Some other great pieces there as well.

Difference / possible bug:
I edited a post and pressed post (save) and was not alerted someone had posted since, though this time I was alerted submitting this post. Seems just not when editing a post if someone then posts.

Nice to have back:
The time top right of page on home page / unread posts page as I check it to see when you possible president Donald Trump citizens wake up and start posting

If you are writing a new post (or editing a previous post and then hitting save) at the same time someone else has posted something (and they beat you in getting their post up first), there will (and always has been) that alert, in red, that someone else has posted and to be sure you want to continue with your post.

This "alert" feature existed in the previous version of the software, too.

(Unless it's something else you noticed, Steve?)

The appearance is growing on me :)

With the new functionality, is there anyway to have sent PMs appear in the 'sent items' folder by default (as oppose to having to tick the 'save sent items' box)? Thanks!

Hey Tob,

Yes, you can and that option has always been there.

If you go into your Profile > Personal Messaging section,  there is a box you can check, that will automatically save any sent PM to your Sent or Outbox folder.   :D

Hi Jeff I am saying forum version 2.0 does not alert you when editing a post. It does when creating a new post. Version 1.0 alerted you for both

This version does, too. I got the alert just last night, when i went back to add/edit something to a post of mine, and someone else had posted in the same thread during that same interim.

But maybe the function is intermittent. Will keep a watch on it and let SMF know, if it continues.

As I write this post, all the smilies, insert img, link buttons, youtube, etc... all icons/buttons don't work. I am using the newish Microsoft Edge Browser for Windows 10. No problem with the included for backward compatibility IE browser. I suspect the plugin needs upgrading too.

Cool. I would think that within the forum upgrade, all plug-ins would also have been upgraded, too.

Keep us posted.

I was just in touch with SMF forum support and their team is aware that there is an issue with the Edge browser and some functionality. They are working on it.

One suggestion was offered, too. To clear your Edge Browser cache on your laptop.

Steve, give that a try, too, and see if it does anything and gets things working. Others have done this, and it has fixed that same problem for them.

And if that still doesnt work, maybe go back to the browser you were using that didnt cause the hiccups?

We upgraded the forum to SMF 2.0.15 today (we were at v 2.0.13). The small updater fixed some small security issues in the previous version. So we are up to date.  thumbup
