Do I see a new trend here? Extreme half face close-ups of the main stars? If so the ad agencies have succeeded in doing away with multi headshot photoshop abominations and have gone for something worse. A photo close-up so big you can see the actors pores. Ugh, a new low. :-X

So true. Shows even less creativity (ie laziness) on the part of those in charge, who can look at stuff like this and sign off on this kind of blase' imagery.

So it's a trickle down effect, almost.

OT: I showed these to an XX who said "I don't like Blake Lively." Of course, I have no idea who these actresses are or what this flick entails. Just shows my thinking is warped bc others actually associate MPs with the movie advertised....

I recently got these Japanese B1s for Isle of Dogs. I really like stop motion animation and Wes Anderson, so was really happy to nab them. I'm not sure if they're a complete set though...perhaps there are more out there.

Wow, those are awesome Tob, congratulations! They must have been hard to track down, especially as there are so many. You should post them in latest acquisitions in case they get missed here. You must be very happy.

Maybe there are Edward Norton and Scarlett Johansson versions too?

Super cool.  And B1 character sets are notoriously hard to find in Japan!

Thanks guys - I appreciate the kind words.

Skyjackers - think you could be right, I can see character posters for Nutmeg, Jupiter and Rex in IMP awards...perhaps they were printed in Japan. I'll have to keep an eye out!

I've been hunting for the Gogo Yubari style Japanese B1 poster for about 7 or 8 years...I finally found it to complete the set of 4 character posters for KB Vol 1 (please excuse the colour differences in my poor photos, which is due to lighting).

For info, here are the other 3 B1s that I'm aware of for the film (note the small differences between the Bride/Uma character poster above and the more commonly found design below). My anecdotal experience is that the splatter teaser style is the one which comes up the least frequently.

Congratulations Tob on an amazing set! There is nothing quite as satisfying as completing a set that's taken so long to complete, (until you're on to the next one of course!) A bonus that the posters themselves are pretty cool too!

Well done there, Tob.  Great character set.  7-8 years of perseverance, wow, I knew that they're rare, in high demand, one of the most coveted B1 sets, etc., but didn't realize how much all of those that they are.  Congratulations

A set of video posters from Australia for Guardians of the Galaxy. They're 27 x 40" and are printed on both sides, but where the front and back can be viewed (as oppose to a typical mirror image on a double sided poster).

Cool. I vaguely remember some or all of these as bus shelters but didn't know about the Aussie video store style.  Great movie also  cool1

Yeah, they were all bus shelters in the US except for the Groot and Rocket posters which were together on a fourth poster.  I completely forgot I had those.

Here's one, when Superheroes were still a thing.  I'll have to check, but that's probably the largest one I own.

Nice, T. 13 posters! I wonder if there's a character set bigger than that? As the ensemble cast for Endgame was so big, it seems unlikely?

Love love love these!  Have not been too excited about the US character posters I have come across so far.  These are gorgeous.

Character sheets really seem to be a thing of the past. Large format still gets them occasionally, but one sheet size don't happen too often anymore.

Thank you for sharing these multiple character posters ddilts399, Tob, and T.  I don't usually get to see multiple posters like these in the small town where I live.  Okie
