This one looked pretty cool from the trailers but is getting ripped by the critics!

I liked and bought this creepy cool 1S:

But the Want to See is still high.

Does this ever get affected by the ratings?

Saw this today. In sum it's better than what the critics say - one memorably described it as the crashing together of the Titanic and the Hindenburg-  but it's not a great movie, B- ismygrade.

The coolest scene is the much-hyped airplane crash:

It felt like too much a Tom Cruise star vehicle than a true-blue horror movie. But you get the sense all the actors tried to make a good movie but it just didn't work out quite right.

The female mummy was cool, both before and after her transformation.

Here's hoping future Dark Universe movies are better....

Well The Mummy fared relatively-poorly here in the US but did MUCH  better overseas, which hopefully encouages UNI to proceed with more Dark Universe movies.

Would-be-presidential-assasin Johnny Depp supposedly landed the Invisible Man lead role and A.Jolie is being considered for BoF.

Still think some of the Mummy MPs are stellar:
