Time to let BAT go. I've glanced at it thousands of times for 2.5 years, so let somebody else enjoy it....

Hate to see you part with her, Mel.
But like you say, "let somebody else enjoy it."

Groovy/cool FM hits the wall. It's a rolled 1S, extremely rare for the 1960s era.

CMP/DL sold 4 of these, 2 to me, 1 to another APF member.

Finally got motivated to clean up, create, "blow up", and hire a commercial printer to pump out HQ full-size repros of these:

Did the same thing in R1:

you never said if all the touch-up on Lake's face bothers you - how does it look in person?

I did OK today  8)

Used various and sundry Pshop tools/extensions to clean up/blow up the source images to 150 dpi/27x41" lossless images and uploaded the 75MB images to a commercial printer, which printed them for $30 each:

The best of the lot - it's the alternative illustrated poster, not distributed to theaters (yes, it's copyrighted so technically it's a no-no to print this but nobody relevant cares if you don't sell it):

Public-domain, so you can print, sell, snort etc them:

8 lobby cards printed 27x41:

Thanks but no Q I'd be traipsing down to the federal credit union for a ginormous loan to buy the real thing if I were still working:

Sell your Breakfast at Tiffany's and you're good to go.  Again, it won't sell in a frame.

Hmm. It looks okay there on that wall. Have you tried other spots? I know! It would look FABULOUS in my living room. Problem solved.

Sold! And the buyer wants it "shipped in the frame" so oooh bar you T. [And yes HPFs are practically indestructible, so perfectly safe to ship.]

Now I'll go buy a yacht, with a parking "garage."

Seriously dumbfounded.  I honestly never though it would sell.

Which proves that I don't know shit about this hobby.

No, too much LA sunshine has fried your little gray cells.  8)

Seriously, he's a new collector whoo bought it for the "color and designs". I told him he could be a "rock star" if he displayed it at the office, even the women will adore it.

C'est la vie....

This thread makes me feel like a total slacker. I have a few posters I want to frame, but just do not have the cash. Mel, when you sold a bunch of posters, did you keep all the frames?  I love the Creature from the Black Lagoon.....
Best regards,

No, I only kept 20/70, gave 50 to a local church. Never intended to start collecting again. But it turned out to be:
