Super groovy set--great stuff. But is LADY DESIRE supposed to have testicles?  Or am I seeing things?

Could this be any more of a Saul Bass/Vertigo ripoff?  hitself

This poster belongs in the "Stolen Art" thread, too, methinks.

HA WRITE-UP: French artist Roger Soubie masterfully captures the likenesses ... with these incredible portraits. He imbues each image with its own personality, ranging from the exuberant Lamour to Lake's sultry stare....

Like I said in one of my posts in the Intro. section, I totally lucked out by my apt. choice in Jan. 2016 when I moved to Charlotte.

My sisters checked out 10+ apt. complexes for me and showed me four.

I just randomly - and very luckily - picked this one with little thought and zero planning.

First, this apt. is on the first floor (has four floors with 200 apts.),  very close to the pool and is in the sunniest area. So the entire summer a flood of 20-something femmes camp out a few feet from my balcony!

Second, it just happens to have 13 ft. ceilings, by far the tallest in the complex. I gave this no consideration at all when I selected itsince I had only 19 one sheet posters left (just 1% of the 1900 MPs I purchased from 2009-2015). I also had only 20 frames left (out of 100 purchased during the same period.) I had no plans to rebuild my collection.

The MPs/frames sat unhung in my bedroom for a year. Then I hung up four. Then May 2017 came and the MP fever hit again. In four months I had a $50K collection of MPs and frames, 1/3 the value of my first collection.

*****

So now I have 34 frames and space for 15-20 more thanks to the high ceiling.

My bro-in-law kindly helped me hang 10 last night. His home ins. co. for some reason bought him a super-fancy $400 ladder extendable to 20 ft. so he was eager to make use of it.

Voila!

Great space for my 40x60 and quad:

I see your brother in law nailing stuff.  I would strongly advise that you use a stud finder and screws (or at least anchors and screws) on the frames located right above the doors.  I would hate for one of those things to fall on someone's head.  Not good.

Time to let BAT go. I've glanced at it thousands of times for 2.5 years, so let somebody else enjoy it....

Here's a great JB3 of AH. I recommended it to Charlie but it went for too much ($400) on EMP:

You  are soooo going to regret selling BAT. But good luck to you. I'd buy it if I had the cash...

You need to take it out of the frame.  I can't imagine someone buying a $5,000 poster without inspecting its corners and checking the whole poster for tears and other imperfections.  You need multiple pictures, your own, not Bruce's.  And I would argue that most people will not want your frame and the $75 shipping associated with it.

Will do. It's by far the best price on eBay and even less than HA/EMP:

CHEERS!

Maybe but I just really get tired of posters displayed for long periods.

For most collectors - T excluded - we're really just renting posters by reselling them after a certain period.

Partially true - obviously the best price on ebay right now, but for the last 10 times this poster has appeared at auction between HA/EMP (all within the past two years), only twice has it gone over $5K.

But yours looks really nice and should sell - provided you listen to T and post some nice out of frame photos and reduce the shipping.
People like to complain about shipping already, I would never consider a mid-four figure purchase when someone wants to ding me $75 for shipping.

New under the sun:

Temporarily unrestored, looks quite awful as is, especially considering I ridiculously overpaid it for it!
