Too many homeless Frenchies in my collection so I donated 90% of my books - I'm all-digital now - and two bookshelves to make room for a second 1P frame from Spotlight Displays, next to my 40x60:

Good news....

Found a couple of tubes with some great MPs that somehow survived the Round 1 purge:

My assistant and I battled MP chaos/madness to semi-organize them by size:

Oooh, found my favorite Round 1 f-f-f-f-f-fake:

What does your poster slave think of your collection (or the fact that you even collect)?

Does he enjoy going thru your tubes, hanging stuff, and still seeing more tubes come in?

What's next... remove the fridge and washer and dryer to make room for poster frames  :P

Poster slave? Ha-ha!

He doesn't love it but I don't overload him with MP tasks.

He worked in the music industry so we mostly chat about music. Most of his clients are elderly with some degree of dementia, so he likes the change of pace.

Attention :

(1) I fixed up your "avatar" for ya, totally "daft" on your part to promote a semi-competitor  ;D

(2) You probably pride yourself on your "posh" Brit accent, but IMO all y'all are too "daft" to pronounce your R-R-Rs  8)

Seriously dumbfounded.  I honestly never though it would sell.

Which proves that I don't know shit about this hobby.

You may get the last laugh

*****

So I did the buyer a favor by shipping BAT in the frame yesterday.

Of course I thought it would cost only $75, since I used the HMP box and HMP only charges me $30 to ship via UPS and $4500 insurance should have cost $40 by USPS.

Nope....

So sent my asst to UPS first but....

****

Post office then rejected it bc too large and too valuable.

*****

UPS charged $180 to ship signature-required W/O insurance! It's practically indestructible but UPS could lose it in transit.

Should have unpacked it and shipped it folded but buyer was unhappy about 2 wk delayed shipment already, so I rolled the dice...

Can't break the plexiglass with a hammer but I suppose it's possible a 1000lb package could crush it:

Plexi"glass"! Big diff....

So the guy bought it in a frame, made you ship it in a frame, and now wants to linenback it and reframe it?  That's what I call a winner.

Think I convinced him not to LB it, goes from a NM unrestored to a run-of-the-mill LB:

[Of course consignor had to pay 20% fee to EMP, didn't want to take the risk.]

Potentially bad news, sent two packages to Poster Mountain in CA. One arrived Mon, the other - worth and insured for 6K - apparently disappeared into the Twilight Zone:

AWOL:LFIL (unicorn) and TK (very rare):

Sorry for that, the good thing is that you are still within the time limit to raise claims, etc.

Mine is still in the twilight zone, I did a request on 8th of November.  I received an automatic email yesterday, I wonder what they mean by "every effort" if it takes already one month to get an automatic email, :)

Note to self: "you've spent gazillions of dollars on frames but have been too [bleeping] lametastic to buy a light box!"

Spotted at a local theater, vastly "livens up" MPs:
