I moved to Charlotte from DC a year ago. Believe it or not I was happy until last month with just these four framed!

But last month my interest in the hobby revived so I had my assistants put up the rest of my surviving frames:

B1 frame:

Quad frame (thanks to Mark Lawd for giving me this BATrr:

US insert frame:

US 1S frames:

*****

I plan to buy 4 more 1S frames and a 3S frame!

How many assistants do you have?  What do they think of your posters?

Two. They come four days a week for four hours to run my errands.

One is 32 year old, a computer geek with 160 apps on his phone. He convinced me to buy a new primo TV. He kids me about the posters but I rile him for still living with his parents at 32!

The other is 63yo with a great sense of humor. He constantly rips into Trump. He likes me b/c I've been his only client in five years who doesn't have dementia. One of his other clients peed in public at a Wal-Mart recently.

Nice Manneken Pis :)

Wait, you mean medical assistants or business assistants?  Did you actually completely quit your job?

Just general helpers. I had to quit my job in Dec. 2015 due to speaking difficulties. I went on disability, which provides OK income but not like the old days.

So how did Breakfast at Tiffany's, arguably the most valuable poster of the Mel 2.0 collection, survive the destruction of the Mel 1.0 collection?  What made you keep it and not the rest?

In mid-2015, I spent some of my $100K EMP proceeds on BAT and Sullivans Travels. Both were extremely expensive as you might imagine, although I paid FMV.

Here they are in my DC apt., my last pic from DC:

The final framed gallery there, eh?  Those two really have a classic look and appear to be in darn good condition.

Would you say those are your favorites that you've acquired over the years?

Sullivan's Travels is positively the best poster I've ever bought. BAT maybe not #2, as expensive as it was.

The Italian Repulsion has always been one of my favorite posters.  I should dig it up and put it up in my frame.  It would replace my Fearless Vampire Killers 3 sheet.  Polanski for Polanski.

I had the1S originally but liked it so much I had to "move up" to the even-more-stellar 3S:

You should do it. Wait, you actually frame 0.0001% of your collection nowadays, ha-ha?

I normally don't like violent imagery but had to make an exception for this entrancing beauty:

I have 1 poster up.  1 out of 13,000.  Not bad.  I don't think you had rejoined yet when I last posted it... so here you go.

I'll delete it if you don't want it on your thread.

Nice mix there, in the primo dozen.  I'd say the Sullivan's and BAT are rightly classified among your best wins.

Ms. Tate sure was stunning at the time of The Fearless Vampire Killers.  That artwork is so disturbing.

You have a lot of great looking pieces still Mel. Can't wait to see what else you purchase in the future.
