Yes it is, sorry about image. I photos it and then stashed the poster away , then only after saw the strap in front of the lens. Here's one without the blurry strap.

May be a re-release given the accolades? What else is different compared to the other ones?
Either way - a real nice poster for sure.

from what i can tell? i have only seen quite small images of the other 2 posters. but the posters seem to have all the same info on them? accolades distritbutors etc. although i cant see the small print on the other 2. as i say im no expert on french posters at all. but it does seem odd. the other 2 that i have seen are large posters and mine is a medium. aside from that is anyones guess?
I don't know much, but i do know what my eyes are telling me!

Maybe the movie was put into wide release after screenings at various film festivals (like is often still done - Cannes etc), and got praise and clap clap from those early screenings. So then adding those accolades and comments to the theatrical release poster helps to promote the movie as one definitely worth checking out.

Landed the Blonde Sinner 1S from EMP today. Had it in Round 1, a must-recover for Round 2. This is heading for lbacking, the fold lines cross the face, severely detracting from its appearance IMO:

I guess Dors was the UK's Marilyn Monroe:

You should maybe try the Weight & Wait Method™ first, too, before sending it off. Just lay it out, and let those fold lines relax and flatten out under some evenly distributed weight.

To me, this looks in much too good condition to be linen backing it (but again, it's all about personal preference and what looks best to a new owner, so I totally get that, too).

I'm with Jeff on this one, I really don't think this poster requires linen-backing.  Personally, I don't mind the folds one bit, they're part of the history of the poster.  But of course, this is up to you Mel if you really can't live with those folds.

Y'all are off the mark on this particular poster. Generally, I'm for keeping even vintage posters "raw" unless there is a compelling reason(s) to lback/repair it. In this poster the "hard" fold lines cannot be pressed out and severely mar its appearance, especially on Dors' face:

My copy as is:

An LB copy:

The "history" argument is pretty weak. It was cheaper to distribute them folded and nobody had a clue that they would survive more than a few weeks and be in high demand decades later for their superior artwork.

History argument is pretty strong. Folded posters are what people saw in the cabinets. We can relive that history, seeing what they saw. But I'd back it if it was mine.

I'd been looking for the half sheets on this title for a long time. I finally picked this one up at Cinevent
it's beat up, but that's life!

I've had the reissue quad for years, now I have this one too.. heh heh

this has actually been in the vault for a long time. finally taking a pic

I got around to shooting a good pic of the rare Nosferatu poster printed for the Telluride Film Festival in 2001. I was really shocked when I ran into this poster at Cinevent.

I love Jane, especially in full size!

I got this (30x40)

hey..
I got this too (another 30x40)

Thanks, Tob. I'll keep an eye out. It looks like the dealer I got it from is all sold out now.

A24 has been knocking it out of the park for sure.

thanks fellas. surprisingly, the $20 gambling poster is almost my favorite pickup (c'mon, you really don't think I'd put anything above the Dahlia, do ya???)

they aren't all exactly 'new acquisitions' but I never had pics of them before. I need to get the bordered Endless Summer framed & up..

Rich, what makes this one so rare? Was it that not many were printed? (low print run?)

Do these pop up once in a while for sale? Any idea how many might have been printed, in total? Any idea?

it's a super-low quantity screen printed poster that was printed for Telluride and was also used in a very small number of theatres in some cities

I had known about the poster, but I had never seen one and probably only a certain number of people knew about it

it's like American Pimp. It played in 5 theatres, so there has to be posters. An image for that however is available, though I have no idea if that image is actually a real poster, or a Rochester Special.
