Good stuff so far this month! Great to see you back acquiring, Mel. I have always loved that Curse of the Werewolf, Chris. Perhaps my fave of those French Hammers which are all pretty lovely.

Here are 3 I photographed recently from a stack of arrivals

Blow Up, French re-release (thanks Teamweapon)

Fargo, Japanese B2

Rosemary's Baby Quad

It sure is Rich  thumbsup.gif

Thanks Mel i actually use your website alot - mine is double sided, 26 3/4 by 39 3/4 and has the bright colour's - no fuzzy text and the paper feels right. In my search for this poster i did come across a number of fakes and your website was of great help.

I also used it for the dark knight joker poster along with a few others i have purchased.

Thankyou  :D

Awesome haul, Tob.

Not usually a fan of re-runs, but that Blow Up has been done well, really dig the subtly.

I love that poster, still own a bunch from my years at DreamWorks, but it doesn't compare to the quad,

Or this one.  I need to take a better picture at some point.  27x39in mock up from the first presentation of the movie.  They eventually changed the title and the poster.

Nice additions everyone, T i really like that unused version of Almost Famous - shame it wasn't used, good idea that they changed the name of the movie though

Cant go past a girl with a handgun wearing a bikini and a lady wearing a nurse outfit riding a very large syringe

Your mind is inscrutable dude:

Evidently we're of the same mindset. Picked up this very cool/rare int. MP for High Fidelity, which of course I haven't seen:

Got it from Charlie's store:

Thanks guys.  thumbsup.gif

Neo: I like how the BRs contrast each other, but find the Gosling style much more visually striking. And you're right, that Ilsa is a stunner.

50s: I'd been looking for a while myself and was excited to find this one in pristine condition, quintessential 80's for sure!

LOVE that fargo tob!!! really visceral poster!

well as a follow on from my last lot i posted, this was a REAL surprise for me to win!
and its in really nice shape too, [not the best pic in the word but meh so what haha]
and ULTRA CHEAP! cheaper than the last french godzilla i got :) well chuffed!

also got this after waiting for quite a while. curiously this dosnt show up all that much on ebay, and when it did it was more than i wanted to pay. saying that a few have turned up of late.
but there was a LOT more of the teasers than the main for this movie. i think the only other place i saw this art used was on a wierd sized US poster? i could be wrong though.

this is also quite a curious poster!
i know its in rough shape, but i havent seen this particular design before. although i have seen 2 other designs for the same movie. which i'm no expert on french posters but using an alternative design isnt all that common but having 3 seems very unusual? again im no expert but i have scanned over a lot of french posters in the years.
anyone know why 3 different posters would have been used on it?
I don't know much, but i do know what my eyes are telling me!

Im liking this one, Sean.. and a Robert Siodmak movie, to boot.  thumbsup.gif

Is the artist's name Hurel?

The art is very edgy.

the artist name is Hurel Clement. i have a few of his posters, not as many as i would like. i like the few posters that i have very much. but to be honest i dont have that many french posters i dont think. although i guess that depends how you judge "many"? haha

May be a re-release given the accolades? What else is different compared to the other ones?
Either way - a real nice poster for sure.

Found this one in a store cupboard at work - along with rubbish posters, but I bagged this one.

Ignore the camera strap in the front - didn't see it.
