Night of the Living Dead light green vs. dark green
« on: May 31, 2017, 09:05:21 PM »

Has there ever been an definitive resolution to the Night of the Living Dead OS light green vs. dark green debate, re: which is the more rare and /or the history behind the two greens?

Thanks for any insight!

Chris, were you able to ever find out anything more about these 2 green styles, and which might be more rare, why there were two green variations etc?

My guess would be different NSS printers on different sides of the country.  However, considering it was a surprise success, then I guess one could have been printed first, then a second that followed to meet word-of-mouth demand....

It seems it HAS been established that the non-color radio-quote version was the first one printed:

I've heard that possibility, but I think most of the info out there is based on speculation.

Thanks for the updates...

I'd always assumed that different printers, or similarly timed print runs was the reason behind the slight difference. Which one was first though?.... just a fun 'history of' dig.

Appreciate the help.
